Dr. Reddy graduated in 2012 from the University of Louisville through a selective 7 year combined undergraduate/medical school program. She also completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville, after which she received Medical Retina & Uveitis fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, Mass. Eye & Ear. During this time, she earned the ‘Dedication to Service’ award for her commitment to global health. Dr. Reddy then went into practice for 3 years as a medical retina specialist/cataract surgeon, participating in 2 surgical mission trips during this time. She went on to receive vitreoretinal surgery fellowship training at the University of Kentucky/Retina Associates of Kentucky, one of the highest volume surgical fellowships in the country.


Dr. Reddy has participated in multiple research projects and clinical trials, with publications in Ophthalmology Retina, JAMA Ophthalmology, Seminars in Ophthalmology and presentations at American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). She has received multiple awards and travel grants for her posters, presentations, and surgical videos, most recently to the highly selective Vit-Buckle Society Annual Meeting.


Due to her medical retina and vitreoretinal surgical training, Dr. Reddy has interest in treating multiple retinal pathologies. She is experienced in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vein occlusions, inflammatory eye diseases (uveitis) and more rare retinal conditions. She has a strong surgical interest in the treatment of retinal detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, vitreous hemorrhages, diabetic, detachments, and removal of vitreous floaters.


Dr. Reddy loves spending time with family and friends. In her free time, she also enjoys cooking, painting, swimming, and traveling the world. She is looking forward to making Evansville her home with her husband Vic and golden doodle paw-child Chikoo and they are excited to explore everything Indiana has to offer.
